The News

1. In the Spotlight: UCLG ASPAC

As part of a new series of articles, looking more closely at key DELGOSEA members who are holding the network together and work behind the scenes in each country, the focus this month is on UCLG ASPAC.

2. Learning About Eco-Tourism in Thailand

The good cooperation between the local government associations of Thailand and Cambodia continued with the joint organisation of a study trip for Cambodian participants to Thailand in March 2014.

3. New ACVN project in Vietnam is keen to learn from the DELGOSEA network

Following the successful cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation within the DELGOSEA network, the Association of Cities in Vietnam (ACVN) has embarked on another partnership with KAS for a EU co-financed project. Inspired by what they heard about the DELGOSEA family, the three pilot cities look for partners in the DELGOSEA network that they could visit to learn more about best practices in local governance.

4. Best Practices on the DELGOSEA website

Interested in finding out what other cities throughout the ASEAN region are doing well? Information on best practices in local governance is regularly put up on the DELGOSEA website: http://delgosea.eu/cms/Best-Practices/New-Best-Practices-2013.

5. In the spotlight: Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS)

In the second article of our new series, where we are looking more closely at key DELGOSEA members who are holding the network together and work behind the scenes in each country, the focus this month is on KAS.
